Invitation to participate in updated airport master plan
Over the next year, the City of Nampa will be updating its long-range master plan for the Nampa Municipal Airport. Nampa’s current airport master plan was developed in 2010. Growth and development in the area have resulted in increasing aviation demands. The new master plan will address aviation safety, capacity and the compatibility of land uses around the airport. The completed plan will provide a roadmap for both short-and long-term development.
Public involvement is critical to ensure the Nampa Municipal Airport Master Plan meets the needs of community members, while also addressing any concerns that may arise. The earlier the public provides feedback, the easier it is to incorporate into the planning process.
The best way to get involved is to attend one of our many public meetings scheduled over the course of the next year. You’ll have the opportunity to meet with project representatives, review the details of the study, and share your thoughts. The meeting schedule is listed below:

January 2019 – Completion of Inventory of Existing Conditions and Forecasts of Aeronautical Demands
February 2019 – Completion of Facilities Requirements
March 2019 – Completion of Existing Airport Development Alternatives Workshop
May 2019 – Airport Land Use
August 2019 – Presentation of Draft Master Plan and Airport Layout Plan (ALP)
December 2019 – Presentation of Final Documents to City Council
